although I did make it harder by ducking behind the sign for the first 2 photo opps. I
suppose that I will be put on some sort of "known protester list" or something to that
effect. I will also be looking into and filing a report on the identification issue.
Not 5 minutes after the Irwindale police pack up and leave, the Azura police drive by
with the window down scowling at me. I tried to save them some time by shouting
"The Irwindale police were already here", but the 2 crown victoria-like cars turn
around and stop. Only 2 get out. The third waited in the car. A bit more reasonable
or at least even tempered than the last lot, the first officer informed my the phones
were "ringing off the hook" at the police station. Many people were complaining that
some girl was holding a sign that said PUSSY in large letters and they were horribly
offended. I told him I didn't think on this smaller road in an industrial park it was
concerned citizens that were calling. I though it was Miller-Coors that had a problem
with my sign. He assured me no, it was an ordinary person. (Likely the prudish old
Asian lady at the environmental disposal place behind me that told me the sidewalk
was private property?......More likely Miller-Coors employees) He said they had a
right to not be offended. He demanded to know what hidden truths I suspected were
the real reason Miller-Coors buckled oh so easily to the pressure of so few. No idea.
Perhaps the CEO fucked an underage prostitute and the coalition found out. Your
guess is as good as mine. I was asked to sit on the curb with my legs crossed and
wait to be arrested, but they drove away instead and I stood back up.
Lunch hour! Finally some people to talk to. "Talk of the town" one person told me.
Seemed unlikely but several people turned on to the street just to snap a
cameraphone shot of me. The above average police presence had attracted more
lookey-loos than my sign alone could have. Thanks Miller for the help! One fellow in
a suburban with a flag behind him and a large dog in the passengers seat informed
me that Miller-Coors was recently sold, and was no longer American or union
-----which seemed to be the biggest complaint of quite a few people. Perhaps it was
foreign pussies that buckled under pressure. That definately warrants further
investigation........
